Part of Ordlo Cart Rules Documentation
This guide covers installing the plugin and creating your first rule.
Requirements
| Component | Minimum version |
|---|---|
| WordPress | 6.0 |
| WooCommerce | 7.0 |
| PHP | 7.4 |
Installing the Plugin
- Log in to your account at checkout.ordlo.io and download the
ordlo-cart-ruleszip file. - In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Upload the zip and click Install Now, then Activate Plugin.
- Go to Ordlo > Cart Rules and activate your licence if prompted.
Creating Your First Rule
- Go to Ordlo > Cart Rules → Add Rule.
- Give the rule a name (for your reference only).
- Choose the Action — what the rule should do.
- Fill in the action details (amount, message text, etc.).
- Add Conditions only if you want to restrict when the rule fires. Leave conditions empty and the rule applies to every cart.
- Set a priority if you have multiple rules.
- Set to Active and save.
Test before going live. Add the trigger conditions to a test cart and confirm the fee, discount, or notice appears as expected.
Evaluation Mode
In Cart Rules → Settings, choose whether all matching rules fire (fees and discounts stack) or only the top-priority one does. Use “Run all matches” when you want multiple promotions to combine; use “First match wins” when only one should apply at a time.
