Ordlo Cart Rules: Settings and Configuration

Part of Ordlo Cart Rules Documentation

How a Rule Is Structured

Field What it does
Active / Inactive toggle Turns the rule on or off without deleting it
Rule name A label for your reference only — customers never see this
Action What the rule does when it fires
Action details Amount, percentage, or message text depending on the action
Conditions Criteria that must be met for the rule to fire. Leave empty = fires on every cart.
Usage limit Cap how many times the rule can be used in total, or per customer
Priority Evaluation order when multiple rules match

Action-Specific Options

  • Fees and discounts — apply to the whole cart total or only to matching products. Set a tax class if the adjustment should be taxable.
  • Percentage discounts targeting wholesale groups — calculate the saving from the original retail price (before wholesale pricing) so customers see a meaningful saving vs. RRP. Optionally show this discount inside the wholesale price on product pages.
  • Cart notice — enter the message text and choose where it appears.
  • Checkout blocking — enter the error message shown to the customer.

Tips

  • Save after every change and clear your page cache before testing.
  • Test on a staging site before enabling rules that affect order totals or block checkout.
