Part of Ordlo Cart Rules Documentation
Ordlo Cart Rules has no shortcodes. Rules fire automatically in the background and the results appear in the standard WooCommerce cart and checkout.
Where Rule Output Appears
| Action type | Where customers see it |
|---|---|
| Fee or discount | As a line in the cart totals and order summary |
| Free shipping | The applicable shipping method shows as free |
| Cart notice | A message above the cart or checkout form |
| Checkout blocking | An error message near the Place Order button |
| Payment method rename | The renamed label in the payment method list |
| Payment method surcharge | An extra line in cart totals when that method is selected |
Testing
Test by logging in as a customer and going through the cart and checkout with the trigger conditions active. If a rule isn’t appearing, confirm it’s set to Active, conditions are being met, and your page cache has been cleared.
