Ordlo Downloads is a separate plugin that creates a searchable, filterable library of downloadable files on your WordPress site. It’s useful for giving trade customers access to product datasheets, specification sheets, trade price lists, compliance certificates, and brand assets — all in one organised place.
What It Adds
- A Downloads area in your WordPress admin for managing files separately from products
- Your own custom categories and filter types — organise by document type, product range, audience, or anything else
- An AJAX-powered frontend table that customers can search and filter
- Download tracking to see which files are most popular
Adding It to a Page
Use [ordlo_downloads] on any page. Pre-filter by category: [ordlo_downloads document_type="datasheet"] shows only datasheets. Create different downloads pages for different audiences.
Access Control
Ordlo Downloads doesn’t connect directly to Ordlo Wholesale. To restrict the downloads page to wholesale customers, control page access by user role using your site’s access settings. See the full Ordlo Downloads documentation for setup instructions.
