Part of Ordlo Wholesale Documentation
Plugin: Ordlo Min Max for WooCommerce v1.0.2
Ordlo Min Max is a separate plugin that adds minimum quantity, maximum quantity, and pack-size (step) rules to your products. It works alongside Ordlo Wholesale’s own minimum quantity settings, each covering a different layer of quantity control.
How It Divides with Wholesale
| Rule type | Managed by |
|---|---|
| Minimum quantity for a wholesale group | Ordlo Wholesale — set in the group’s settings |
| Minimum quantity for a specific wholesale customer | Ordlo Wholesale — set on the customer’s record |
| Minimum, maximum, and step quantity on a product (for all customers) | Ordlo Min Max |
| Site-wide default minimums, maximums, and steps | Ordlo Min Max |
What Min Max Adds
- Minimum quantity — the fewest units a customer can add for a product
- Maximum quantity — the most units a customer can add in a single order
- Step / pack size — requires quantity to be a multiple of a number (e.g. packs of 6 only)
Rules are enforced at add-to-cart, cart quantity update, and checkout. The quantity input updates automatically to show only valid values.
When Both Plugins Are Active
The most restrictive minimum always wins. If Min Max sets a minimum of 6 but a wholesale group has a minimum of 10, that group must order at least 10. See the full Ordlo Min Max documentation for setup instructions.
