Ordlo Wholesale gives you detailed control over which customers can see which products. You can hide products from retail customers, show certain products only to specific wholesale groups, and restrict entire categories to particular trade accounts.
Product-Level Visibility
Every product has visibility settings in the Wholesale tab of the WooCommerce product editor:
- Both — visible to all customers, wholesale and retail (this is the default).
- Wholesale only — hidden from retail customers and logged-out visitors. Only approved wholesale customers can see it.
- Retail only — visible to retail customers but hidden from wholesale customers.
- Specific groups — only visible to members of the groups you choose.
You can set visibility independently at the variation level too — useful if a product has both retail and trade variants.
Group-Based Category Restrictions
Set in each group’s settings under Ordlo Wholesale → Groups:
- Allowed categories — members of this group can only buy products from those categories. Everything else is hidden from them.
- Excluded categories — block this group from buying products in specific categories, while still allowing everything else.
Guest and Retail Access Controls
If you want to hide prices or restrict access for non-wholesale visitors, the controls are in Ordlo Wholesale → Settings → Guest Access. See Guest Access & Store Controls.
Quote-Only Products
You can set any product to “quote-only mode”, which removes the Add to Cart button and replaces it with a Request Quote button. Set this per product, per variation, or in bulk via CSV. See Quotes and Bulk Edit & Import/Export.
