Ordlo Wholesale: Registration & Applications

Ordlo Wholesale includes a built-in trade registration form that lets prospective customers apply to become wholesale buyers. You review their applications in the admin and approve or reject them — and when you approve, you choose which group they join.

Enabling Registration

Go to Ordlo Wholesale → Settings → Registration and enable the form. Choose between manual approval (you review each application) or automatic approval (anyone who submits is approved immediately).

Add the shortcode [ordlo_wholesale_registration] to a page to make the form visible. The page should be publicly accessible — customers should be able to submit it without logging in first.

Configuring the Form

• Company name
• VAT / tax number — required, optional, or hidden. You can set a validation pattern so the field only accepts correctly formatted numbers.
• Tax / trade evidence — allow customers to upload a supporting document such as a trade registration certificate.
• Custom fields — add text, dropdown, or file upload fields with conditional logic and drag-and-drop ordering.

The Settings area includes a live preview of the form as you configure it.

Reviewing Applications

New applications appear under Ordlo Wholesale → Applications.

Approving

1. Open the application.
2. Select the Customer Group to assign the customer to.
3. Add an internal note if needed (only visible to admins).
4. Click Approve.

Rejecting

1. Open the application.
2. Add an internal note if useful.
3. Click Reject.

Use the bulk action dropdown to approve or reject multiple applications at once.

VAT Status After Approval

If a customer submitted a VAT number at registration, it’s stored on their account. After approving them, you can set their VAT/tax status to Approved to automatically remove tax from their orders. VAT status can also be updated at any time from Ordlo Wholesale → Customers.
