Part of Ordlo Wholesale Documentation
Trade Fields adds two extra product fields — Country of Origin and HS Code — for stores that ship internationally and need to provide customs or compliance information on their documentation.
What Are These Fields For?
When you ship internationally, customs authorities often require documents to state where goods were made (Country of Origin) and a standardised product classification code (HS Code or Commodity Code). These fields let you store that information on products so it appears automatically on packing lists and order documents.
Enabling Trade Fields
Go to Ordlo Wholesale → Settings → Trade Fields and enable Country of Origin and HS Code independently.
Field Formats
| Field | Format | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Country of Origin | Country picker — stored as a two-letter ISO code | GB, DE, CN |
| HS Code | Digits and hyphens | 6403.99 |
Set these on the parent product only. Variations inherit the parent’s values automatically.
