Ordlo Xero Sync Pro can sync your WooCommerce products to Xero as Items, and show customers a link to their Xero invoice from their order history.
Product Items in Xero
When products in WooCommerce have SKUs, the plugin can create matching items in Xero. This means invoices reference specific Xero inventory items rather than freeform descriptions, which keeps your Xero reporting cleaner.
Setting Up Product Item Sync
- Go to Ordlo → Xero Settings → Product Items.
- Enable Use SKU as item code on invoices.
- Select the Xero account that product item sales should post to.
- To push all your existing products to Xero now, click Sync all products to Xero from the Ordlo → Xero Sync dashboard.
- To keep products in sync going forward, enable Auto-sync on product save — this pushes any product to Xero whenever you save it in WooCommerce.
Important: Every product must have a SKU to sync. Products without a SKU are skipped. Make sure your SKUs are unique before enabling this feature.
Xero Invoice Links for Customers
After an order syncs to Xero, the plugin can display a link to the Xero invoice in the customer’s My Account → Orders area. Clicking it opens the Xero online invoice in a new tab.
This is useful if you want customers to access a formal Xero invoice rather than just the standard WooCommerce order confirmation. The link only appears once an order has synced to Xero successfully.
